Updated July Events

We would like to update you on some events happening at Liberty Street Brewing Company this month.

First of all let me clarify this Sunday, July 4th. We will open as usual at 12:00 p.m. – NOON (not 12 a.m. as last posted). Remember it is discount growler day, so bring one along to fill and have a cold beer with us.

Sons of Liberty Homebrew Club! If you have a beer you would like to share with us, or have a question about brewing beer, come out and join the club.
We will meet this Monday, July 5th to share homebrews, ideas and recipes. There is NO COST! This club will meet in the basement (via the alley door) at 7:00.

Next Saturday – July 10th

Sons of Liberty brewers Will and Jason are brewing the “Original Red” on the Loading Dock beginning at 9:00 a.m. This was our first batch ever at Liberty Street and many people have asked us to brew it again the way we did back then.

Also at 9:00 P.M. – the return of Funktion! Having to reschedule due to a power outage last month, these guys can’t wait to roll in from Kalamazoo and play for you. This seven piece band with brass has a cool jazz base to it combined with a more forward funk feel to get you dancing. This is a must see show! You can check them out at http://funktionmusic.com/

Our next small batch release is scheduled for Wednesday July 14th. This small batch of amber ale, called Phat Tyre, is quite refreshing and delicious just like the beer it was named after.
Come out to taste ours, because the next closest bottle is west of Chicago!

We hope that you like the new cleaner look of the upgraded website. It is much more functional and easier to update than the previous one. We are still working on some of the details, but click through the pages to see the new look and stop back for updates to the calendar. You can also sign up for an RSS feed to alert you of any new posts to the website, – just click on “posts” at the top of the page.

If you are wondering what beers we are currently serving in the tasting rooms, you can view the “What’s on Tap Now” section from any page on the website. Click on one of the listed beers to read a detailed description.
