Beer, bands and more…

The beer is most important, so I’ll start there. We are releasing our Octoberfest beer for this year tomorrow, Sunday the 17th when we open at noon. This beer will last a couple of weeks, but due to the high demand of this single annual batch, there will be no growlers available. We also have some of the Original Red small batch left on tap, so come by and try some before it is all gone. This coming Wednesday the 20th we have another small batch release with a 75 Minute IPA brewed on our pilot system. This small batch will probably run out that night, so be one of the lucky tasters. Stay tuned to this website for future small batch releases.
Upcoming entertainment in the Upper Hall starts with our house band, Baked Potato, tonight at 9 pm. “Tater”, as I call them, are sure to get your toes tapping or have you all out dancing with their jam based style of rock. Next weekend we have Julie Haven on Friday (22nd), and Bebe and the Bluesmasters on Saturday (23rd). The last Friday (29th) of the month,we host The Delta Twins.
We also have a Haunted Block Party on Sunday the 24th, in front of the brewery. There will be games for the kids, and more live entertainment on the street stage.
Mondays, enjoy happy hour all day, and don’t forget to take advantage of discount growler days on Sunday and Wednesday – $3 off refills all day.
Don’t forget to see us at the Fall Beer Festival in Detroit’s Eastern Market on Saturday the 23rd.
LSBC welcomes back by popular demand – ‘8 Ball Trivia’ on Tuesday nights from 9 to 11 (starting in November). This is free to play, and you have chances to win prizes and even qualify your team of brainiacs for championship tournaments with prizes up to $5000.
